Al-Masoom International Foundation Trust We are a charity based organisation whose main aim is to help people through financial, medical aid and social well being throughout the world. We utilize resources that we have raised through our members and from fund raising functions in the UK and around the world.

The Al-Masoom International Foundation (Trust) was founded in 1989 to alleviate the suffering of the poor and needy, we especially focus on Women and Children.

The founder member of Al-Masoom International Foundation (Trust) started to take part in social welfare activities in the beginning of 1969. In May 1989 she started to focus more on her personal vision. Her keen interest in social welfare activities converted into an organisation with the name of Al-Masoom International Foundation (Trust). We are registered worldwide and have been since March 21st, 1997(Charity No. 1061821). We are also registered in Pakistan under the registration no. 755, Trust Act 1882 with the registrar of joint stock companies-Islamabad dated April 3rd, 2002.

MISSION STATEMENT & OBJECTIVES “Promoting Human Development of the Disadvantaged in Gender Perspectives” Mandated Objectives

• To promote gender awareness and sensitivity in Pakistan.
• To narrow the gender gaps in health, education and economic participation.
• To promote economic empowerment of the underprivileged through skill development.
• To promote awareness and sensitivity about Sexual and Reproductive Health rights, information, education and services.
• To promote development investments for Pakistani youth.
• To promote gender sensitive media advocacy on development issues especially HIV/AIDS, Youth and Gender based violence.
